祝允明(1461年1月17日—1527年1月28日),字希哲,號枝山。因生而右手有六指,是一名多指畸形病患者,因此自號為“枝指生”。明代文學家、書法家,長洲(今屬江蘇蘇州市)人。當時與徐禎卿、唐寅、文徵明號稱“吳中四才子”。

Zhu Yunming (January 17, 1461 – January 28, 1527), courtesy name Xizhe, art name Zhishan. He was born with polydactyly, having six fingers on his right hand, and thus gave himself the nickname “Zhizisheng” (meaning “branch finger born”). Zhu Yunming was a Ming dynasty literary figure and calligrapher from Changzhou (present-day Suzhou, Jiangsu Province). He was renowned along with Xu Zhenqing, Tang Yin, and Wen Zhengming as one of the “Four Talents of Wu.
