楊沂孫(1813-1881)字詠春,號子輿,晚署濠叟。常熟人。清道光二十三年(1843年)舉人。官至安徽鳳陽知府。少時從李兆洛學諸子,精於《管子》、《莊子》。擅書法,尤愛“篆籕之學”,初學鄧石如,後吸取金文、石鼓文、漢碑篆書等書體筆法,久而有獨到之處,為清代有突出成就的書法家。

Yang Yisun (1813–1881), courtesy name Yongchun, pseudonym Ziyu, later known as Haosou, was a native of Changshu. In the 23rd year of the Daoguang reign (1843), he passed the provincial examination. He served as prefect of Fengyang, Anhui. In his youth, he studied various classical texts under Li Zhaoluo, specializing in Guanzi and Zhuangzi. He was skilled in calligraphy, especially fond of the study of seal and ancient script styles. Initially, he learned from Deng Shiru and later incorporated techniques from bronze inscriptions, stone drum inscriptions, and Han dynasty stele seal scripts. Over time, he developed a unique style and became a distinguished calligrapher of the Qing dynasty.
