褚遂良(596年~658年/659年),字登善,杭州钱唐(今浙江省杭州市)人 。唐朝宰相、政治家、书法家,弘文馆学士褚亮之子。出身河南褚氏,博学多才,精通文史。隋末时期,追随西秦霸王薛举,担任通事舍人。

Chu Suiliang (596–658/659), courtesy name Dengshan, was from Qiantang (now Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province). He was a prime minister, politician, and calligrapher of the Tang dynasty, and the son of Chu Liang, a scholar at the Hongwen Academy. Born into the prominent Chu family of Henan, he was highly learned and proficient in literature and history. During the late Sui period, he followed Xue Ju, the warlord of Western Qin, serving as a court interpreter.
