歐陽詢(557-641年),字信本,潭州臨湘縣人。唐朝大臣、書法家,南朝陳黃門侍郎歐陽紇之子。
歐陽詢精通書法,與虞世南、褚遂良、薛稷三位並稱“初唐四大家”。與歐陽通合稱“大小歐”。書法於平正中見險絕,號為“歐體”。

Ouyang Xun (557–641), courtesy name Xinben, was from Linxiang County, Tanzhou (modern-day Changsha area). He was a Tang dynasty official and calligrapher, and the son of Ouyang He, a court official during the Southern Chen dynasty.
Ouyang Xun was a master calligrapher, and together with Yu Shinan, Chu Suiliang, and Xue Ji, he is known as one of the “Four Great Calligraphers of Early Tang.” Alongside his nephew Ouyang Tong, they were called “Big and Small Ouyang.” His calligraphy style is noted for its balanced strength and refined sharpness, famously known as the “Ouyang Style” (歐體).
